We check the bank statements every morning for all payments received on the previous day. Direct debit payments typically take 2 days from leaving the tenant's account to being received in our client account. When we receive rent it is added to your rental statement and the statement is emailed over to you. This is your notification that we have got the rent payment and you should expect these funds to reach you the following working day.
We are very conscious of a landlord’s cash flow and this is the reason why we check our accounts daily to get your rent to you as quickly as possible.
A typical example of processing time is:
(Mon) – Payment requested from tenant's bank account by direct debit
(Wed) - DD received into our client account – (2 working days)
(Thurs) - We process the rent and send the landlord statement – (1 working day)
(Fri) - We pay the monies into your bank account - (1 working day)
Total = 5 working days
