For maintenance authorised by you, we will:
- Arrange for a contractor from our approved contractor list to carry out the work in line with your instructions
- Progress the work until completion
- Charge your rental account for the cost of the work
- Pay the contractor's invoice from your rental account
Please note that if the maintenance work is above £250 we must take the full payment upfront. We are required to take this upfront due to the way we are governed by ARLA.
ARLA is a governing body that audits how estate agents work and have put requirements in place in order for us to offer client money protection. Client money protection means that any monies paid to NGU Homes - Lettings & Sales are held in an insured bank account and can be claimed back in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
